From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this
1917 MICHIGAN STATE PRISON ESCAPED PRISONER WANTED POSTER offering a 0 Reward for Harry Foy, alias Claude Douglas.
Measuring approximately 5 1/2” x 5 1/4”, this is in very good condition considering its age. I have recently purchased an extraordinary book of over 100 wanted posters spanning the years from 1917/1919.
So far, I don't have a clue as to where the book came from but perhaps it was part of an early agency which might have been on the lookout for wanted men and their rewards. Please watch my listings both for those and what I hope is an interesting and eclectic selection of other vintage and antique items. I am happy to combine items to reduce shipping with the second and successive items usually half of the original shipping cost.
