Wonderful vintage salt and pepper made by Enesco, Japan

Typical Siamese pose with slightly tilted heads
Hand decorated
The painted eyes and extended eyelashes are beyond fabulous
Even with some jewel embellishments - each shaker has a pale blue aquamarine marquise stone flanked by 2 round clear rhinestones; I believe each shaker also originally had round stones for eyes which are no longer present but some foil remnants remain
Likely from the 1960s
Slightly taller pepper with two holes, the slightly smaller salt with three holes
In good vintage condition - a few scrapes to edges (including noses) and pin pricks of missing paint but no chips or cracks noted; some of the hand painting is also not as precisely applied;  you can refer to all the photos
Original cork stopper on the pepper
Pepper measures 4 1/16" tall; salt measures 3 15/16" tall
